Motor Vehicle Collisions and Traumatic Brain Injuries

Reviewing Brain Injury

Motor vehicle collisions were the third leading cause of traumatic brain injury also commonly called concussion or post-concussion syndrome.  This is according to the Centers for Disease Control  See., https://www.cdc.gov/traumaticbraininjury/get_the_facts.html  Typical symptoms can include: headache, nausea, light/noise sensitivity, word finding problems, fatigue, problems concentrating, memory disturbances, and emotional problems, to name a few.

There are many causes of brain injury including car crashes, trucking collisions, falls, and blows to the head in workers’ compensation cases.  Symptoms can be worse if you have suffered prior head injuries in the past.  I have been a member of the Brain Injury Association for 15 years and know the good work this organization does in supporting and advocating for those suffering brain injury.  If you, or someone you know has suffered a brain injury, hire a lawyer who knows and has experience fighting for a full and fair recovery.

At Wolfgram & Associates we know how to help those suffering what might appear to those who don’t know you to be an invisible injury.  We have a record of handling brain injury cases in St. Louis, St. Charles, Perry County, St. Genevieve County, Madison County, Jackson County, Kansas City, and many other counties in Missouri, Illinois and Iowa.
